South London singer-songwriter Jasmine Jethwa is closing the gap between Western rock and Indian culture. She cites the likes of Bon Iver, Fontaines D.C., as well as the soundtrack of Bollywood films as her major sources of inspiration. She continues her introspective and melancholic songs of debut EP 'Hurricane' on the new 'Same Streets But I Don't See You Around', but at the same time her folk pop also sounds more hopeful and sunny.
