Julien Ehrlich and Max Kakacek have developed a new Whitney sound with the album 'Spark'. With the weight of lockdowns and break-ups, the Chicago duo holed up in the studio, letting inspiration and stories flourish between midnight and dawn. 'Spark' carries a melancholy feel, but also sounds richer and more diverse. Whitney is still bathing in dreamy soundscapes and swooning vocals, but now with disco grooves and more profound soul.
