ROBBIE WILLIAMS

Sat. 27. June

Robbie Williams has been one of the UK’s biggest pop entertainers for over 30 years. After starting his career in 1990 with Take That, with whom he quickly scored major British hits, he broke through as a solo artist with Life Thru a Lens (1997), featuring classics such as Angels, Rock DJ and Let Me Entertain You. In 2026 he released his album BRITPOP, a project that looks back to the Britpop era and includes collaborations with, among others, Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Jesse & Joy, Chris Martin and Gaz Coombes. With singles like Rocket, Spies, Pretty Face and All My Life, Robbie once again won over fans and received glowing reviews from the press.

With BRITPOP, Robbie achieved a historic success: the album became his 16th UK Number 1 album, allowing him to surpass The Beatles and officially giving him more UK chart-toppers than any other artist in the history of the British album charts.

Fun facts:

  • Robbie co-wrote the official FIFA anthem Desire with Laura Pausini for major international football tournaments; the song is used at all FIFA tournaments, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
  • His career includes more than 20 UK Number 1 albums if you also count his releases with Take That, making him one of the best-selling British acts of all time.
