  • Where does Live is Live take place?

    Middenvijver Park – Blancefloerlaan, 2050 Antwerp.

    Middenvijver Park is a unique natural area on the Left Bank of Antwerp, just a stone's throw from the city's historic centre. Covering around 40 hectares, it is one of the largest event locations in Belgium. Each year, several large and smaller-scale events are organised here, in balance and with great respect for the surrounding nature. 

     

  • What is the line-up and timetable?

    Saturday 27 June: Robbie Williams, Sugababes, Suzan & Freek, Bart Peeters & de Ideale Mannen, Ozark Henry, Davina Michelle and Cleymans & Van Geel

    Sunday 28 June: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Lykke Li, Johnny Marr, Benjamin Clementine, Anna von Hausswolff and Das Pop

    Monday 29 June: Iron Maiden, Epica, Testament, Doro and Fleddy Melculy

    On Saturday and Sunday, the doors open at 12:00, and the first performance starts at 13:00.
    On Monday the doors open at 14:00 and the first performance starts at 15:00. The end is scheduled at 23:45.
     

  • Is there a minimum age?

    Children under 5 years old are not allowed on the festival site. All children up to and including 16 years must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone needs a valid ticket, regardless of age.

  • How do I purchase tickets for people with reduced mobility?

    A ticket for people with reduced mobility gives access to the seats on the viewing platform. Exclusively for wheelchair users, persons with disabilities and their accompanying person. Companions must also purchase a separate ticket for the viewing platform.

  • Is there a campsite?

    There is no campsite at Live is Live. You can stay overnight in Antwerp in one of the many hotels, hostels or B&Bs.

  • How do I get to Live is Live?

    Live is Live takes place at Middenvijver Park, Linkeroever in Antwerp.

    Behind the scenes, we are working hard on mobility to make access to the event as smooth and comfortable as possible. It will be possible to reach Middenvijver Park by bike, shuttle bus, car, ferry or train.

    You can find more practical and detailed information on our mobility page. Please keep an eye on our website for the most up-to-date information. 

  • Are earplugs available?

    Yes, you can ask for your free (disposable) earplugs at the info point or buy a reusable version via our partner on site. Protect your ears!

  • Are there lockers?

    Yes, paid lockers are available right at the entrance!

  • What about lost property?
    • During the event: found items are brought to the info desk.
    • After the event: they are handed over to the public authorities (more information will follow later)
  • How can I pay?

    Live is Live is a cashless event. You pay with your bank card or smartphone (Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.). Convenient, right!

  • May I bring my own food or drinks?

    No, that is not allowed. But don’t worry: there are plenty of quality food trucks and food & drink stands with something for everyone. We also provide several free drinking water points on the site; you are welcome to bring an empty refillable bottle.

  • What food options are available?

    There will be an extensive range with: 

    • vegetarian & vegan options 
    • gluten-free options 
    • lactose-free options 
    • allergen information available
  • I’m breastfeeding, where can I go?

    Are you breastfeeding and would you like to pump in a quiet place? Then you can go to the first aid tent. There is also a small fridge available to store milk.

  • Allowed and prohibited items

    Allowed 

    • small backpacks and handbags (max. size 40 x 30 x 20 cm) 
    • smartphones and small digital cameras 
    • medical aids (with proof) 
    • empty drinking bottle 
    • a small folding stool for medical reasons or during pregnancy (max. 50 cm high)

     

    Prohibited 

    • glass, cans, carton drink packages 
    • alcohol, drugs, prohibited substances 
    • umbrellas, parasols 
    • professional photo, film and recording equipment 
    • selfie sticks, tripods 
    • chairs (except in case of medical exemption) 
    • inflatable objects (lazy bags, etc.) 
    • drones 
    • fireworks, smoke bombs, flares 
    • laser pointers 
    • megaphones, vuvuzelas, loud noise-making items 
    • prams, scooters, skateboards, (folding) bikes 
    • flammable products 
    • any object deemed dangerous by the organisation
