Combine Italian passion with Scottish sobriety and some Motown swagger, and the result is Paolo Nutini. With the album 'Last Night in the Bittersweet', he broke the silence after six years. The tumultuous period after his previous tour is clearly audible, as the album bounces from the soulful 'Through the Echoes' over the heartfelt 'Everywhere' to the explosive 'Lose It'. With his raw voice and influences of Sam Cooke, Led Zeppelin, soul and krautrock, he tells stories that make you dance and reflect at the same time. Paolo remains a surprising man on stage, but also still manages to pierce heart and soul with songs like 'Candy' and 'Iron Sky'.
